From Ferdinand von Mueller to Charles Pascoe   16 Feb 1869

Melbourne bot Garden,

16/2/69

Dear Sir

In reply to your letter of the 12 inst1 I beg to inform you, that after the extensive distribution of plants to public institutions last year I have only 5 Melias left in pots and those not more than about 9 inches high. Further on in the season I could manage to lift out of the open ground the one dozen desired by your municipality. Pray let me know your requirements for general planting not later than the end of April, by which time your ground should be fully prepared2

With best regards

Ferd. von Mueller

T. S.3 Pascoe Esq &c &c
