From Daniel Oliver to Ferdinand von Mueller   [Mar 1869]

[Box 47 with specimens for Bentham’s use has arrived at Kew]

Letter not found. M annotated the entry for box 47, sent by Dover Castle on 4 December 1868, 'arrived vid. Oliver’s letter May mail' (RB MSS M44, Notebook recording despatch of plants for Bentham for Flora australiensis, Library, RBG Melbourne). Dover Castle arrived at London soon after 7 March, and a letter written by the end of March is likely to have arrived in Melbourne in May; the letter is dated accordingly.
