To Joseph Hooker   28 March 1869

28/3/69

By the Anglesey in a few days, dear Dr Hooker, I shall send off the rest of the Dicotyledoneae, in two large Boxes. I am very glad that I managed to put these plants all into perfect order, thus facilitating much Mr Bentham's work.

Mr W. Archer is just here on a visit. We looked together over my Tasmanian Conifereae from Mt Field East.1 I have all 3 Athrotaxes, also Microcachrys and Pherosphaera.

The latter is an erect bush 1-4' high, much of the habit of Disemma. This last however I did not find on Mt Field.

Mr Abbott has found Potamogeton Marinus in Tasmania.

Always your regardful

Ferd. von Mueller
