Acknowledges pkts of seeds of Epacrids. "Have abundance of D. antarctica.1 Alsophila australis. Cyathea medullaris; we want good small trunks of the other Australian Tree ferns" Have 4 or 5 Xanthorrhoeas from King George Sound W.A. Bentham well again from rheumatism and sciatica which have pulled him down very much." E. polyanthemos is the only Eucalypt that will stand an ordinary winter with us — we have tried scores of others"]
