From Ferdinand von Mueller to Asa Gray   17 June 1869

17/6/69

I have to thank you, dear Prof. Asa Gray, for the kind transmission of the very valuable document,1 which you, with you usual skill, have furnished on the plants of our friends Brewer and Bolander. It was transmitted with some dry plants of yours and poor Horace Mann's, by the poor lamenting mother of the latter. I will write to the poor Lady by this mail.2 Dr. Engelmann sent also his critical Junci & the memoir he wrote thereon.3

Enveying you of your Kew enjoyments I remain
