From Frederick McCoy   25 June 1869

N. M.1 25/6/69

My dear Dr Von Mueller

I send herewith a parcel containing two dozen Victorian Birds, not found near Melbourne, & one, the red-capped Pomatorhinus, only described a few years ago, as a slight exchange for the Casuarius with which you enriched the Museum.2 Your book has been found by the Librarian, it was delivered in due time some months ago & he had directed the Assistant Librarian to acknowledge it.

I am, my dear Sir &c
