From Ferdinand von Mueller to George Story   29 Mar 1870

Melbourne bot Garden

29/3/70

Let me hope, dear Dr Story, that you returned safely to your patriarchic home, and that in the rural tranquillity of your salubrious country you continue strong and happy.

Should you pass any sedges and seeds and grasses, pray pick them all up for me, as I have to work on them this winter for the flora (the 7th vol.)1

Many of the Tasmanian Glumaceae are not yet at all well understood.

If I can send any thing from here to you, it will be done with very much gratification.

your regardful

Ferd von Mueller

Glumaceae
