The requisition was approved and returned to M on 17 May 1870. On 19 May, M referred the requisition to the Government Printer, J. Ferres, asking him: 'Will the Gov. Printer kindly supply the volume noted in this requisition'. Ferres supplied the volume on the same day. M replied to him on 20 May: 'Received with thanks'.
