To [Joseph Hooker] 1    5 January 1871

Melbourne Bot Garden

5/1/71

The Capt. of the Ship "Geo. Thompson" has been so kind to promise to look after a small case full of plants, intended for you;2 or rather his wife is to exercise the vigilance over them. Be so kind to send for the case, when the Ship arrives in London.

Your regardful

Ferd von Mueller3

See M to J. Hooker, January 1871 (in this edition as 71-01-00).
