I enclose you specimens of the New Tree from Mount Dryander2 — I will send by next mail the notes you require on the woods — and some good specimens for the Museum a specimen of this tree amongst them3—

Another specimen, MEL 1587730, has an undated note from Fitzalan attached, which although it bears the same number may not have been collected at the same date:

Mt Dryander.

Ochrosia Kilneri F.v.M.

A large glossy leaved tree like Lactaria Calocarpa — the fruit being bright red—the tree is as large and as fine as Ficus Microphylla—no flowers at present
