Referring to your memorandum of the 13th ultimo1 on an application from the Creswick Shire Council for the services of Mr Ferguson2 in an inspection of the Smeaton Park Reserve when that officer should again visit Ballarat, I am directed to enclose for your information copy of a minute by the Honble the Commissioner of Lands and Survey on the subject.3
