To Edmund FitzGibbon   24 June 1871

Melbourne bot Garden

24/6/71.

Is it within your power, dear Mr Fitzgibbon, to oblige me with some information, in reference to the quantity of wood, sold annually (or at an average weekly) at the E. Market for fuel in the city? I am very anxious to collect a few more notes of this kind, to be appended to the print of my lecture.1 As a matter of course I shall give you public credit for the information.

With best regards

Ferd. von Mueller. 2
