From the Inquirer and Commercial News, Perth to Ferdinand von Mueller   [Feb 1872]

[We forwarded by last mail to Dr. Mueller a box of dried plants forwarded to us by Mrs. Wells, of Boxvale, York,1 and we shall be happy to attend to the forwarding of any others that may be sent to us. The parcels are franked by the Colonial Secretary, which of course relieves the senders of any expense of transit.]

WA. It is possible that the plants were collected by Julia Wells and forwarded by her mother, Susannah: the specimens in MEL collected from Boxvale listed in the Australasian Virtual Herbarium (http://avh.ala.org.au, accessed 25 February 2018) are listed under 'Wells, J. S.', or 'Wells, J.'. See Maroske & Vaughan (2014), p. 138.
