From Ferdinand von Mueller to Richard Gore   19 Apr 1872

Melbourne bot. Garden

19./4./72.

I am much gratified, dear Mr Gore, that Dr Hector kindly sent a parcel or set of the plants of the Chatham Island for my naming from Mr Travers new collection.1 It did not arrive yesterday with your letter, but whenever it arrives it shall have my attention.2

I will communicate with Mr Travers3 after the arrival of the plants, so that according to the extent of novelty the form of publication may be decided on.4

Your very regardful

Ferd. von Mueller
