Barn Von Mueller Director

Sir

Would you kindly send my letter1 to the Honorable Mr Gilles

In reply I would respectfully say that I received a memorandum under date 17th January from Dr Mueller Director of the Botanic Garden [memorandum not found] stating that on no account was I to furnish any list except through him under the circumstances I realy do not know how to act

awaiting further instructions I have the honor to be Sir your most obedient Servant
