To Joseph Hooker   23 March 1873

Melbourne bot Garden

23/3/73

By the Steamship Somersetshire, dear Dr Hooker, the 58th case with plants for Mr Bentham's work is despatched.

I hope the 57th also arrived safely. It was forwarded under care of Capt. Ridgers by the Hampshire, but no bill of loading was got (end of January already)

A case full of Liliaceae for Bentham will follow in a few weeks.

Regardfully your

Ferd von Mueller
