From Daniel Sullivan to Ferdinand von Mueller   [Oct 1873]

I have despaired of being able to get fruit of this dwarf Acacia as the Cattle eat it down every season before the fruit ripens.

MS is a scrap of paper pasted to the apparently unrelated D. Sullivan to M, 1 December 1879. There is a pencilled '12' inside a circle at the top of the sheet, possibly Sullivan's collecting number, but the October 1873 Sullivan specimen of the low-growing Acacia aculeatissima specimen at MEL is recorded as not having a record number (AVH, accessed 3 June 2023).
