Bentham (1863-78), vol. 6, was published 23 September 1873 (TL2) and 30 copies were received in Melbourne in January 1874 (W. Odgers to M, 27 January 1874 (in this edition as 74-01-27b)).
The letter was referred back to M on 3 July 1874 minuted by Francis: 'Must be sent thro the Govts — Appd [Approved]'. Approval to send a set was reported to M in T. Ware to M, 29 June 1874 (in this edition as 74-06-29a). M to T. Ware, 3 July 1874, reported that the requisition had not been sent back to him, or to the Government Printer. See also M to J.
