Brisbane 18th August 74

Dear Baron Mueller

Your kind favor of the 8th inst1 to hand. Many thanks for Royenia.2 I found it growing in the the Moggal3 Scrubs some seventeen miles from Brisbane. I shall keep a look out for the fruit. I am sending a small case of seed to Mr Guilfoyle, in the case I have placed a small tine box containing One seed of the Cocos, and same of the Areca. I have no doubt but what you will be able to make the latter to be another Genera. both fruits are red when ripe. I have had them in spirit of wine.

I am glad to hear that you are going to send me some specimens for my herbarium, send grasses first and I hope to send you others in return which I know you are in want of for exchanging trusting you are in good health, which I am glad to say that I have recovered from the Fever and ague &c

I am
