May I ask, honored and venerable friend, to compare the enclosed Erechtites with E. of your great parent. M. Bentham & myself have taken it for that plant,1 but the identification needs to be confirmed.2
No response from de Candolle has been found, but the name is accepted in M's systematic census volumes B83.03.04 and B89.05.03.
