To Edward Ramsay   29 May 1875

29/5/75.

Let me offer my gratulation, dear Mr Ramsay, to your well earned fellowship of the L.S.1 I need hardly say, that I shall be happy to examine any fossil fruits, especially as the age of the pliocene & miocene forms is thus far not yet well fixed in Australia. I trust that some day foliage truly adherent to the various fossil fruits recently discovered will be found also, especially of Spondylostrobus.

Regardfully your

Ferd. von Mueller.

Is there any chance of more palms &c from the North for the 7th volume2
