The plant sent by you, dear Mr Ramsay, is the Curculigo recurvata of Aiton. I gave a full diagnosis of it prior to the 6th vol. of the Flora1 (see Fragm. VIII, 272) which Bentham for reasons unexplained did not quote, though I was the first who showed the occurrence of this plant in Australia
