To Joseph Hooker1    27 January 1876

27/1/76.

Allow me, dear Dr Hooker, to ask you, whether at Kew a fragment of Velleya panduriformis is to spare, as I should like to study that species in reference to two allied ones.2

Regardfully

Ferd von Mueller

Failing that could the plant be figured for the icones?3
