two months deleted by Odgers and replaced by stet above the printed Quarter that Luehmann had earlier deleted.
29th February deleted by Odgers and replaced by 30th June.
The two items are bracketed together.
400 deleted by W. Odgers, Under Secretary, and replaced with 350.
66 13 4 deleted by Odgers and replaced with 150—0—0. In addition, Odgers has inserted an extra row above the total, showing the respective entries for the different columns as 14/1, Salaries, 800 — — , 600 — — , and 200 — — .
Sixty six pounds thirteen shillings and four pence deleted by Odgers, and replaced with Three hundred and fifty pounds.
66 13 4 deleted by Odgers, replaced with 350—0—0, and initialled WHO.
Signed and dated by Odgers on behalf of James McCulloch, the Premier, rather than MacPherson who was Chief Secretary but who went to in Tasmania on 10 April 1876 with his family and appears not to have returned to Melbourne until 28 April. It is not known why Odgers altered an old form in the ways indicated with newly-entered data.
