W.H. Odgers Esqr.

Undersecretary.

Sir,

I have the honor to inform you for information of the honorable the Chief Secretary, that I have to proceed tomorrow to Ballarat, as I have on Saturday to deliver a lecture before the Farmers Club there.1 I feel sure, that the hon. the Minister of Railways would grant me a free pass, if an application was by you made kindly to that effect. I have no vote for travelling expenses.

I have the honor to be,

Sir, your obedient

I expect to be back early next week, after having given also graziers about Ballarat information on grasses.
