From Townsend MacDermott   12 June 1876

honor et virtus 1

Temple Court

12th June 1876

Mr MacDermott presents his compliments to The Baron Von Mueller and would feel greatly obliged if he would forward to the Public Library Ballarat East the concluding Vols of his "Fragments phytogra[phe] Australia2" the first four Vols. of which have been for some time in the Library.3

If not exacting too much Mr MacDermott would feel obliged by The Baron Von Mueller sending the Library a copy of His Atlas of plants.4

Mr MacDermott will be glad to take charge of the Books for the Library, that is if Baron Von Mueller can spare the Copies.5

MS letterhead also bears an image of a lion rampant holding a rod topped with a crown.
