The honorable John Macpherson, M.P.,
Chief Secretary.
Sir
I have the honor to inform you, that I have asked the Warnambool1 Towncouncil to send me some of the seeds of the sandreeds, recently imported by the Government,2 and as I have obtained some lb3 I would beg to suggest, that a portion may be placed at the disposal of the hon. member for Sandridge4 with a view of being disseminated on the coast-sands there, perhaps through the action of the local Municipality. If this proposition meets with your approval, I can forward the seeds any moment to your office.
I have the honor to be,
Sir
your obedient
