From Ferdinand von Mueller to Henry Read   [May 1877]

[Baron Von Mueller notifying that he had forwarded a bag of fresh creeping grass for planting out on drift sand.]1

The Warrnambool standard added that M had shipped the seed per Nelson and recommended that it be sown at once. The Town Clerk said that the seed had arrived (Warrnambool standard, supplement, 18 May 1877, p. 1). See also H. Read to M, 26 May 1877.
