To the Secretary of the Education-Department.

Sir

In compliance with the request of your memorandum 132711 I have the honor to transmit herewith sixteen hundred copies of the work on select industrial plants2 for the schools of your Department, which number with the 50 copies supplied before makes a total of 1650 copies furnished. The School-Book3 will be available at the Gov. Printers Office next week or soon subsequently.4
