To Charles Pearson   28 July 1877

Saturday 1

This day, dear Prof Pearson; I received the enclosed portion of the Sydney Morning Herald.2 The elaborate review of my little School-Book may interest you, more particularly as the copies for the State-schools will be available (bound) at the Gov Printer's office in a few days.

Regardfully

Ferd. von Mueller.

The letter is dated to Saturday, 28 July1877, as the earliest that it could have been sent to have enclosed the long anonymous review of B77.08.01 in the Sydney morning herald, 24 July 1877, p. 5. The review is likely to have been written by William Woolls.
Enclosure not filed with letter.
