To Edward Ramsay   21 May 1878

21/5/78

It affords me much pleasure, dear Mr Ramsay, to introduce to you the bearer of these lines, Mr Charles French, an officer of the Melbourne bot. Garden, but who moreover claims your attention as being well versed in entomology & other branches of zoology, and is the proprietor of most extensive collection of coleopters, formed by himself. I feel convinced, you will be gratified to make his acquaintance.

With best regards

Ferd. von Mueller M.D.
