Surveyor Generals

Office Sydney

28th June 78

Dear Baron

I hasten to send you a specimen of a little pea-plant or trefoil I searched for in Howes Island,1 but was unable to obtain except in leaf

I have just received it from that Island but cannot find it in your list in the Fragmenta.

Yours truly

Robt D Fitzgerald

It now might be described at once as other specimens are in Sydney.

RDF2

Lord Howe Island.

MS has been folded to enclose the specimen, and the postcript is written on the outside.

MS found with a specimen of Medicago orbicularis (MEL 9508).
