To Edward Ramsay   9 July 1878

9/7/78.

As there is now such a drive towards N. Guinea, dear Mr Ramsay, keep kindly a sharp look out for any ship of the Sydney Naval Station, which may suddenly be despatched, so that I may join, if permitted. Please telegraph to me at once, when a chance occurs.

yours regardfully

Ferd von Mueller
