From Ferdinand von Mueller to Edward Ramsay   11 Sep 1878

11/9/78.

Best thanks for your kind letter & advise concerning your L.S.,1 dear Mr Ramsay. I find that at this moment I will hardly be able to finish off anything for your publications, my illness for a month having brought my work (for which anyhow I was so unfavorably placed) into arrear.

What little was really ready of my manuscripts, the Gov Printer seems able now to pass through as a number of the fragmenta.2 I will bear in mind the arrangements of your L.S., kindly pointed out by you, & avail myself of them at future periods.3

Regardfully

Ferd. von Mueller.

Shall be glad for the Diatomaceae deposits.
