Sydney 11th March 1879
My dear Baron
Pray do not hurry yourself with the specimens of the Polynesian plants, but keep them as long as you choose. I am now making arrangements for sending a collector on a cruise with the Commodore,1 and will instruct him to look after Graminaceous plants for you. By the way I enclose a specimen of one which I came across today, and which is unknown to me. I also send you a specimen of an Acronychia which does not appear to be described. The strong orange scent given off when the leaves are bruised, distinguishes it from the other species of the Genera with which I am acquainted.
With kind regards
I remain
Very sincerely Yours
Charles Moore
