From Ferdinand von Mueller to William Odgers   14 Mar 1879

Melbourne

14/3/79.

W.H.Odgers Esqr &c

Undersecretary.

Sir,

I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of the Sitzungs-Berichte of the Royal Academy of sciences of Bavaria and of the Moscou Naturalists Society's Bulletin (of which both I am a member) and of the Report on timber,1 and express my best thanks for the transmission. These works have been deposited in the Library of my Department. It seems, that a small expenditure for the transit is incurred, which,— if necessary — will be refunded to the Agent-General's office.

I have the honor to be,

Sir, your obedient

Ferd. von Mueller.
