From Daniel Sullivan to Ferdinand von Mueller   11 May 1879

Baron F. Von Mueller

Dear Sir

I send you some more seed of Eucalyptus Alpina, which is likely to be somewhat better than the last, as I picked it myself with great care. I have some still in the capsules, but this damp weather prevents dehiscence. My opinion, as expressed in the last note,2 is confirmed with respect to height, number, &c. Enclosed also is a fruit specimen of Banksia integrifolia (var. verticillata)3 which you asked for some time since. It is hard to get them in a ripe state.

With best respects

I am, Dear Sir,

Yours faithfully

D Sullivan
