My dear Baron

I send you a specimen of Eucalyptus Cordata from Gunns1 Herbarium. The locality given for it is North West Bay Huon Road. The weather has been so wet and miserable that I could not get out to obtain fresh specimens but no doubt they will be easily obtained if you wish for them and at the same time I will endeavour to obtain Mr Spicers so called White Gum.2

The Census3 will probably be published by the Govt but not till the press of Parliamentary business is over, I will see that a number of slips are struck off for Herbarium purposes

I remain my dear Baron

faithfully yours

F. Abbott
