From Eugene Fitzalan to Ferdinand von Mueller   15 July 1879

Willow Vale Bowen1 July 15th 79

Dear Sir

I have to thank you for Book (Victorian plants2) and for Seeds (Brabejem3) and to assure you that I will get you the fruit of the Eucalyptus you ask for as soon as ripe.4 A work on Eucalyptus will be very valuable as a work of reference — — I hope a Supplement to the Flora Australiensis will be authorized shortly as many things are left in an unfinished state5 —

I enclose Specimens of a small handsome tree — will you kindly give me name —

yours respectfully

Eugêne Fitzalan
