Herewith I am sending you the list of your plants, dear fellow countryman.1 Do you know anyone in the Beda Country,2 who would send me (per post) a flowering and fruit bearing specimen of the "Beda thorn". I will propose you for the Linnean Society with the next mail.3 You can send your works after your election.

Handschriften, so sende ich Ihnen dieses Blatt als Probe der Letzteren. Haben Sie vielleicht eine Idee wo "Beda Country" ist? Auf meinen Karten kommt es nicht vor. [P.S.
