From Ferdinand von Mueller to Robert Muir   [Sep 1879]

[Dr von Mueller requested me to send him a Sketch of Lake Muir, so as he can send it to some Geographic Journal.]1

Muir continued 'Not having one I take the Liberty of applying to you for it'. Fraser minuted: 'It can be supplied but Mr. R. Muir must pay at usual rates'. No evidence has been found that M sent the sketch to a geographical journal.

Fraser, 27 September 1879 (Colonial Secretary's Office, SDUR/M9/1024, State Records Office of Western Australia, Perth).
