This summary refers to the entry in the register, two lines above, for Agnew's letter to M, 26 September 1879, in which Agnew thanked M for information concerning Manna. On 4 October, Agnew also wrote to S. Wintle, 'Enclosing Barons von M.s last note on same subjt.' (RSA/B/1).
