I gladly accept your offer, dear Mr Dyer,1 to send me pencil-sketches of Eucalyptus oligantha, E. patellaris & E. orbifolia, of both of which I have no material here. It will enable me to institute the needful comparisons then, when the opportunities arise.

If it was not too much trouble E. fibrosa could also perhaps be drawn.2

But I have now found the original specimens of E. siderophloia.3
