This certificate was read at a General Meeting of the Society, on the 4th day of November 1880

The Ballot will take place on the 2 day of December 1880.3

M wrote to the Secretary enquiring whether the form had been received; see M to R. Kippist, 26 May 1880. On the assumption that the supporters completed the form only once, this is thus dated to early 1880 and the item is numbered accordingly.
