FOR A FELLOW OF THE LINNEAN SOCIETY OF LONDON.

being desirous of becoming a Fellow of the LINNEAN SOCIETY OF LONDON, we, whose names are underwritten, beg leave to recommend him to that honour.

This recommendation must be signed by Three or more Fellows.

N.B. – The Christian name of the Candidate must be stated at length, as well as his Residence, and any special qualifications he may possess.

 

This certificate was read at a General Meeting of the Society, on the 18th day of March 1880.2

The Ballot will take place on the 15th day of April 1880.3

The date of preparation by M, and signature by Woolls and Fitzgerald is unknown, but it could have been no later than early 1880; the item has been numbered accordingly.
