To Joseph Hooker1    8 January 1880

8/1/80

Herewith, dear Sir Joseph, I send you a lot of seeds of Grevillea annulifera, for your Museum,2 where it will be interesting, as these seeds on account of the almond-tasted kernels are much sought by the natives near Shark-bay,3 as I ascertained in 1877 when there. The seeds are quite fresh, thus you can raise this highly ornamental plant also.

Regardfully your

Ferd von Mueller.
