Sir,

Herewith I forward parcel of Plants Mosses &c also Root of Fern, and in reference to same beg to state, that, the root of this is long, thin & straggling throwing up clusters at intervals of from 12 to 18 Inches — My Packet of Sponges being over the standard weight I had some difficulty to induce the Post Master to receive it, I hope that it has come to hand, my eyes thank God has regained their wanted strength.
