From Joseph Hooker1    29 June 1880

June 29 /80

My dear Mueller

As I do not know Dr MacGillivray's Xtian2 names & you do not say what they are, I cannot go ahead with his certificate for the Linnaean3 which I enclose for you to fill up & return to me when I will get it signed & sent in.

I will see to the nomenclature of the Eucalyptus polyanthemos. which has borne that name for many years in the Gardens.4 Its ultimate branches were much cut up by last winters frosts &c but it is budding now all along the leading branches.

Ever sincy yr

Jos D Hooker.
