Ihre schönen Bilder der neuen Lepidopteren sollen, lieber Herr Tepper, mit nächster Post an die Linnean Society abgehen.

Besten Dank für Auskunft über Capsella.

Melaleuca uncinata wird ihre Heilkraft hauptsächlich in einem Öle besitzen, welches dem der Euc. sehr ähnlich sein muss. Ich habe im Jahr 1866 für die Ausstellung in Paris auch das Öl von Melaleuca ericifolia herstellen lassen. Vielleicht würde unser Freund in Adelaide auch Mel. unc. abdestilliren. Wegen überhäufter Geschäfte habe ich die Berichte des bot. Vereins von Brandenburg nicht genau durchlesen können, werde wegen Ihrer Angelegenheit nachsehen.

Suchen Sic doch freundlichst im Sane nach dem entwickelten Zustand von Geococcus pusillus, der wahrscheinlich wie eine aufrechte Cardamine aussehen wird. Wir kennen eine Cardamine der Laplata-Staaten als eine ähnliche Doppelgängerin.

Melaleuca uncinata will have its healing power mainly in an oil, which must be very similar to that of the eucalypts. In 1866 I also had the oil from Melaleuca ericifolia made for the exhibition in Paris. Perhaps our friend in Adelaide would also distil Melaleuca uncinata. On account of overwhelming business I have not been able to read through the Berichte des botanischen Vereins von Brandenburg closely, will check with regard to your affair.3

Do most kindly look in the sand for the developed state of Geococcus pusillus, which probably will look like an upright Cardamine. We know a Cardamine of the La Plata States4 as a similar counterpart.
