Besten Dank, lieber Herr Tepper, für den Druck Ihrer Flora der Yorke-Halbinsel. Es ist eine nette, genaue und abgerundete Arbeit, u wird diese Schrift Manchem hier u im Auslande eine gute Idee von der dortigen Vegetation geben. Ich denke mir, dass Sie die Zahl der Pflanzen Ihrer Halbinsel (ohne Algen) u andere niedere Acotyledonen noch zu einem halben Tausend erheben werden, trotz des Mangels an Gebirgsland, da Sie so umsichtig beobachten. Die geologischen Andeutungen sind auch wichtig.

Best thanks, dear Mr Tepper, for the print of your flora of Yorke Peninsula.1 It is a neat, accurate and rounded work and this article will give many here and overseas a good idea of the vegetation there. I imagine that you will raise the number of plants of your peninsula (without Algae) and other lower Acotyledons again to a half thousand despite the lack of hilly country, because you observe so carefully. The geological indications are also important.
